Green Bubbles

Stumbled upon the comment:

Funny aside I know many women who won’t date men who’s text come up in green bubbles…

Made me think. It’s both something deep and something not. It’s like — like a friend says — existential topic. It’s something so stupid, yet I know it’s too real. I may know these women too.

Ah, sometimes I regret I’m married already. By my late twenties, I got this taste of dating, and exploiting those — both too stupid and too smart-ass-ish — things women do. I gave up too quickly, deciding I’ve understood the rules and no longer interested in playing by them.

I just so love hacking the systems. I’d love hacking these women. I’d just blue message1 them with iPhone 4S (the one from 2011) out of a joke, while having my shattered Pixel2.

  1. Green messages are for non-Apple users, blue messages are for iMessage users. ↩︎

  2. It’s very difficult for me to jump off iPhone to Pixel. I like Pixels a lot, yet I disrespect Google so much, I cannot dare to switch my platform. Even for the sake of GrapheneOS, which may be privacier. Google just mostly make as shitty hardware, and I treat Pixels as funny to have second hand for a bargain, but never new from a shop. Generally, I have no issues with buying a new iPhone, apart from the thinking most people never need the latest and greatest these days. ↩︎
