I noticed that long ago, but it feels like it’s just recently that I fully realised that.
Excuses feel over-complicated things to tell, and most times (if not all times) it’s much simpler to do something rather than write down the excuse why you didn’t. That is very visible, especially in the scenarios when the communication is written.
And I like it.
Oftentimes, I start writing (to someone) something that sounds as an excuse of why couldn’t I do that, and upon simplifying the whole piece, I am realising it’s just easier done than said. (Pun intended.)
Did I say I like it? Maybe, that’s my motivator to do something, as I strive to this simplification thing. Our lives are overcomplicated already.
