Four different routes. Each of which competes on the traffic. You are quicker only because you stayed in traffic a bit less.
What a ride.
The whole city stays. It’s surely an effective way to travel to work. This city needs to have much less cars. I was quicker to get to my destination by foot (sic!) than by public transport. Which itself has a separate lane, yet was staying too much too.
On a bicycle, I am faster than Ferraris, Teslas, Porsches, Mustangs, Audis, whatever fast cars they have here.
I have never been in awe from cars, rather the opposite: I always despised others for having so much affection towards them. On my bike (on any bike, even the cheapest scrap) I feel like I’m the king of the road, not those losers in their super-expensive cars.
It makes me sad too much. I believe cars make our cities much worse than everyone thinks.
